The cucumber seeds are my girl's favorite part. Often she'll eat the inside and leave the harder flesh and skin. If she's really hungry she'll eat more of the harder flesh. When I fix cucumbers for me and hubby, I always scoop out the seeds and wet part, we don't care for it. Works out great because that's girl's favorite part

Thank you =D I figured they wouldn't be bad, or it would've been mentioned already but with seeds I always get a tad anxious.

It seems like they liked the cucumber but didn't love it. That's good enough for me, though!

Different topic..
Chia seeds - I've been looking into those and repeatedly seen two types mentioned; White, and black. From what I've read the nutrional differences are minor, if mentioned at all, so does it not matter which KIND of chia seed you give your pet?

To my knowledge outer coloration of the shell is just a genetic characteristic as nothing was mentioned as to one being different nutritionally than the other. You may want to look to see if it is, always good to make sure, but really I don't think it isn't an issue.

I can't wait to see your chippies popping those chia seeds into their cheek pouches. These seeds are said to be the best of any nuts or seeds out there for sale, highest in Calcium, lowest in phosphorus, and packed with many other nutrients. Again, they are fattenning so don't over do it with the seeds. They are pricey too, but likely you don't care, they are your babies and hope to be grandbabies as well.

Thank you =D I can't wait either, and I bet they can't.. We've been going through their diet lately, giving the 'not so good' stuff to outdoor animals, and the seeds are pretty much the only thing left unsorted. I haven't ordered them yet (waiting for someplace to restock other items so I can order those too), but I keep calming the chips with rosehips while they wait.

Money is no object where chippie health is concerned, when I've got money. I wish I had a million bucks though, since I don't always have anything around being a poor college kiddo.
